Saw the Doctor at the appointed time and date. Received a prescription and hopefully all will be over soon. Peace of mind.
Appreciated the interview in view of the present difficulties.
Receptionist efficient and cheerful. Her 'Work Station' means going up and down stairs, She needed to slow down for her own good.

The Medical Practitioner rang as arranged and gave me an appointment to see a Doctor for the following day. (The 'Voicebox' placed on the outside of the Main Entrance could be sited a little lower for short persons such as I)

Antibiotics

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I was really poorly because I had a water infection and so they put me on strong antibiotics for 3 days and they have cleared it up so I am feeling better now.

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I visited Crookhorn Surgery on two consecutive days for blood tests and the service as usual was first class. The staff are always helpful and pleasant, the nurse was excellent as indeed they always are.This surgery and practice are tiptop!

Tetanus

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

I needed a Tetanus injection after I accidentally put a spike through my finger. Called in to the Allaway Avenue Surgery and an appointment was arranged immediately. It was a walk in appointment which I did, saw the Doctor and told him what I had done, he gave me the injection there and then, just what I wanted. Excellent. Thankyou.

Non urgent app

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Having had problems with receiving incoming calls on our land line the commitment of the staff to connect me to speak with the doctor and the patience they showed was second to none. Once addressed The speed at having a prescription sent to the pharmacy was amazing. My husband and I have only been with this practice a short while after a lifetime at our old surgery but we both have been overwhelmed with how all our needs have been met especially in these challenging time.We hope we will be able to resume face to face consultations with a doctor when they may be of more value than phone chats (when it is safe to do so)

Phone Consultation.

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

My husband had a phone consultation with Dr Mannings and he asked if the Doctor was happy to speak to me as well. Kindly he was and was able to give me some advice regarding my problem. I was asked to do a urine sample and go to the surgery and it was all ready for me. Then a prescription was sent to my Pharmacy all by the afternoon. Very efficient.

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.
