The staff are always helpful and friendly, the service is quick and efficient. Paulsgrove is the best surgery in Portsmouth group practice. It’s a small surgery so you feel listened to and helped.

Thank you for the feedback on our service. We obviously cannot possibly have a 'favourite' site, we love them all equally! They do say good things come in small packages! In all seriousness, it is lovely to hear that you find the staff friendly and our service efficient.

Trying to use the online system to get an appointment is a joke. You have to answer the questions incorrectly to avoid being referred back to the NHS 111 system...utterly silly. The service received is cursory and you are made to feel that you are a burden on their resorces. Some reception staff are lovely, others are real 'jobs-worths' and seem to be deliberately unhelpful

The on-line questionnaire is provided by a third party and has been set-up to ensure that where required patients are sign posted to 111 or 999. We are unable to amend these questions as it is a valuable resource for patients that do require urgent attention by those relevant services.

Referred to by a phone call with my Crookhorn Surgery doctor which was very indepth, I was referred to a doctor in Cosham park house. Venue felt covid safe and appointment was quite quick. Understand during covid appointments will be short and I was prescribed medication which I collected there and then from chemist which was brilliant. Perhaps under normal circumstances I would have liked to have discussed my war throbbing condition a bit more thoroughly but these are difficult circumstances. Altogether I was happy with rhe service I received under current circumstances.

Using the eConsult facility, as recommended by my GP and asthma nurse last year, is an efficient use of time for the patient and the surgery. I have recently fielded three requests via the service and usually the next morning the surgery has contacted me. It allows for greater clarity of concerns or issues without the need for a booked appointment.

Filled out an e consult, got a call the next day, arranged day for Dr to call - easy. I even missed the call from the Dr due to difficulties homeschooling and they left a message and phoned back when they said. So impressed, especially as it was my fault I missed the call.

I felt that when I got to the surgery for my appointment I still had to queue outside in the cold and with my health problems I can't afford to get a cold or flu. Why do I have to queue if I have an appointment? The staff were pleasant enough when I eventually got inside the surgery but still had to join a queue instead of being able to take a seat and wait for my name to be called I have to use a frame to get around and find it very difficult to stand for too long.

Thank you for your feedback. It is regretful, but currently there is some need for queuing, this is due to some patients being dealt with without needing to enter the surgery, therefore whilst they are being spoken to at the door, other patients need to wait until their turn. All patients are temperature checked on arrival and this can then cause further delays. We apologise for the inconvenience, however this cannot be avoided.
