Friendly

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

This is not my local surgery but had an appointment time available so I went there. The staff were friendly, tell you where to wait as the nurses have a separate area and then make sure a limited number of people are in each area. The nurse (Lisa) then took time to listen to my concerns and reassured me on a few things .

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Ongoing treatment for polymyalgia rheumatica

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

My initial visit to the surgery was on the 24th December when a blood test was taken and on the 29th December, the doctor phoned me with the results. He arranged for a prescription and that afternoon I was able to start the course of steroids. I have been monitored throughout with 2 more blood tests and phone consultations and adjustments made to the dosage. I have found it to be very efficient and patient friendly.

Covid vaccination

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

From start to finish it worked like clockwork. I was met outside by a very cheerful man who directed me inside where a lady checked my temperature and indicated further down the room to a gentleman who asked several questions about my health and handed me on the the next man who ,in turned directed me to a room where l had my vaccination given by a very pleasant and chatty nurse after which l went out of the rear of the building. All over in 2-3 minutes, great.

Very professional

At the moment of my arrival there was only one person inside and was leaving so I didn't contact with anybody. I went to the touchscreen terminal, did what I have to. And on the time of my appointment the nurse called me, she was extremely professional, polite and was very clear on her explanation about what Iwas doing there.

Everybody tried to help

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I was struggling to walk, my left leg, would not take my weight, just woke up with this in the morning, I also could not move my neck and shoulder on the right side, the pain was awful. I was so embarrassed. Each person I met was kind and helpful. I would like to thank them all.
I have used this surgery for most of my life, am pleased to say they tried to help me in every way.
Treated well and leaving with pain killers I had been prescribed before.

I call the surgery in morning for consultation phone with the doctor. The appointment was made for me, Doctor rang me in the afternoon. I explained to him all the symptoms. He rang Cosham surgery and made an appointment for me to see the nurse,and have ECG. The Hospital appointment was made for me to see cardiology the following day.all that was done with in two days.

Telephone call-back for me to see someone about a strange mole.

A GP called me, but I never got anywhere because I still don't know if the mole is cancerous or not? I can't get an appointment to actually see a GP or someone who can check the mole for me. So this was not good at all. I have no idea if it is skin cancer or what I am supposed to do???
