E consult

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Happy with E consults in general. Response time will always be met because someone contacts you but it is only to say when you will have a follow up call etc which might be a day later. I was advised that I would be called and when. It did not happen and I received a text message instead. Very impersonal and makes you feel just a number. Happy so far with outcome of my e consult.

Traumatic

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Actually getting through to speak to a human is the worst part of the experience. If you lucky enough not to actually be cut off because of high call volume, and are prepared to listen to the awful recording until your place in the queue is reached, then the helpful humans are excellent. Having to sit through it all over again, if cut off, or having pressed the wrong button is annoying.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.
