Delightful experience

Receptionist was very welcoming. I've never gone to a gp surgery and experienced such a warm reception. Nurse was also very warm and professional making the whole experience quite delightful.

We thank you for sharing your positive experience. Heyward Road Surgery is situated in a busy residential area with afternoon/evening parking restrictions. We appreciate parking can, at times, be difficult - though usually short term parking in the adjacent streets is possible during usual operating hours. If you have any mobility issues which would affect you having to park some distance away and walk in, please do share that at the time of appointment booking as you can be seen at almost any of our sites, and another site may be more convenient and accessible to you.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.
