Appointment

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Staff was very kind, however there was a 20min waiting time for my turn even though I turned up on time, and normally that wouldn't bother me but no one bothered to inform me before my appointment for the flu jab that they were running low on vaccines so they couldn't give me one because I didn't qualify as a vulnerable person, which I understand but that could be said over the phone and I didn't have to waste an hour of my day on getting to the surgery then waiting in the line for my turn just so they can tell me that there is nothing they can do for me and send me home. I wasted my own time, their time and technically took a space in the queue that could be used for a vulnerable person that needed this vaccine. This could be easily avoided by getting in touch with me by phone. Thank you.

Social distancing adhered to with prompt to use hand sanitiser on entering, only 3 people max allowed in waiting room. Friendly receptionist and nurse. Couldn’t fault the level of care I received.

Poor review

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

Awful service , dr phoned said he’d like to see me, only got to see a nurse who gave me sickness tablets! And offered physio for painful neck and severe headaches!
Prescription never went through to chemist even though I waited 1hr 50 min I gave up and went home without it.
I’ve now had to pay out for chiropractor.
Receptionist should be fired !! Refused to open door when chemist asked me to go back re: prescription , I couldn’t hear what she was saying through speaker as drilling was going on outside by Aldi. All in all a very unhelpful stressful time with no outcome and I’m still in unbearable pain from neck and headache

Mum’s appointment

We were very kindly treated, seen by 2 doctors, had a it of a wait but excellent treatment when seen, the only down side was mum needs another appointment and we can’t make this in advance of the day, difficult when you don’t live in same house or area and the patient needs organising when you get to her house.
