Flu jab appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

For the first time, I booked an appointment for my annual flu jab on line. When I arrived at Cosham Park House for the appointment the person who met me at the door was polite and cheerful as were the staff at the inoculation room,. All this despite it being a Sunday.
Also, I was in and out before my actual appointment time which was nice.
Thank you to all those people who worked on that Sunday!!

I was offered my annual flu jab the same afternoon as I called into the surgery to book an appointment. The staff were all very friendly, efficient and helpful.

My main dealing with the surgery is my repeat prescription but when I do phone and ask advice of a doctor or general enquiries the service I receive is very good.

Blood Test & Flu Vaccination Appointment

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Blood Test, at which I was also given the Flu Vaccination, therefore saving the Surgery's precious time as well as my own. The nurse also checked my Blood Pressure upon my request and provided me with a monitoring chart, which I will be returning to the surgery (as the lower figure is causing me concern and headaches).

Met at the door, temp taken. Asked to sit in the spaced-out chairs. Waited less than five minutes, called through, a couple of questions and out again in one minute. Very well organized.

Thank you for your feedback. We are not scared to see patients, but advice is that if we do not 'need' to see the patient, we should do what we can remotely i.e. over phone / email / text. We appreciate that this is a different way to how people are used to accessing services, but it is for good safety reasons, and reflected across the country. If we need to see a patient, we will.

Receptionist

The older receptionist needs to improve her customer service. I’ve not been to a surgery in along time and she just expected me to no what to do. I didn’t no I had to sign in until someone came in after me and I watched him do it.

My wife made the appointment for me and received texts to remind her of the appointment despite it being for myself.
