I felt completely safe

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

We arrived at the doctors surgery met by receptionist who took our temperature then directed me to book in to sit and wait for the doctor to call me in. Flu vaccination given blood pressure taken. I then left the surgery. All safe procedures in place I felt completely safe and secure. Social distancing in place cleaners busy keeping the surgery clean.

Not GP medicine as I know it.

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I had great difficulty handing a letter in, concerning a medication I have had before and now cannot get on repeat. I was told to fill in the form on line, but this was not appropriate to my letter, so I persisted. The letter brought a phone call in response, with a request to have a blood test and then phone in for a medication review. I did both, but all the available appointments were booked and I must phone again, when I might be lucky.

Flu jab plus more

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

Went in for flu jab, nurse said I was due for a couple more ie tetanus mmr etc, wonderful lady booked me in there and then with doctor, had jabs all in a very short time, brilliant receptionist as well, left feeling like I have been really looked after.

Blood Tests

This is a review for Heyward Road Surgery & Practice

I thought the woman that took my bloods, Rachel, was fantastic. I don’t do well with injections or blood tests but she made it quick and completely painless and she was lovely then entire time. Would definitely go there for other blood tests/inoculations.

The praticioner was very thorough and understanding but I don't think talking change will help with my aching joints and jarred neck and painful knee, like recommended.

Booking difficult

The blood test I had booked went well , I was a little frustrated however that I could not book this appointment until I had received my flu jab. Apparently the booking system would not let me book two appointments although they were for different things so had to wait for first one to pass

Absolute shambles of the phone lines

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Why this surgery thinks its acceptable to let you call, let you hold and listen to all the chatter, then selecting your option only to eventually say lines are busy and to hang up and try again later is absolutely beyond me. Do they not realise that people that are calling the surgery are more than likely genuinely worried about a health matter, so to end the call like that is terrible. Also, the other day after I eventually got through the woman that answered decided it was too hard to hear me so promptly hung up. Disgraceful.

There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Recent visit for flu jabs

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

My husband and myself went for our flu jabs The waiting room was well spaced out. Our appointment was on time and the nurse also noticed we should have mmr and tetanus which was after a short wait by Dr Gohill. Everybody was very nice and friendly and made us feel safe and well looked after. The receptionist was very helpful too. Thank you.

My Annual Flu Jab

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I attended Cosham Park surgery for my annual flu vacation. There were several of us waiting outside the surgery door when I arrived and although the receptionists knew we were there, no one came to let us know what we were supposed to do, until the person in front of the queue called out to them. Once in the surgery, I was directed to the appropriate waiting room and then called in for my flu inoculation The nurse giving it was friendly and efficient, but I had to go and look for someone to open the door so that I could leave the surgery afterwards.
