Difficulty finding Surgery Entrance having never been there before. Very nice welcome from the receptionist, nurse gave lots of information.

Crookhorn Lane Surgery

My last experience was awful o was invited by several messages to have the flu vaccine I booked one and cancelled as was poorly u received further invites to have the vaccine so booked it went to the surgery waited for my appointment to be questioned by the nurse with the door wide open why I was no longer pregnant! It would have all been on my notes she then said I was not eldgible and sent me away it was all very upsetting and humiliating! Terrible terrible experience I am put off ever going to the surgery again

Appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I didn't really get any answers the last two trips to the doctors. I saw a trainee doctor on both visits.

Still in pain with no answers, apart from to take time off work to relax my legs, which I can not do unless I wish not not be able to pay my bills.

Went to Holland & Barrett's to seek out herbal remedies and looking at exercises and other options that weren't given to me by the doctor

No difficulties in visiting under Covid rules for a Flu Jab. Temperature checked, Social distancing maintained. Did not have long to wait.

Flu vacination

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I went on line and booked a flu jab, I was given a appointment for the next day. On arrival I was met at the door and directed to a chair, within a minute I was called and had my flu jab. The whole experience was very professional and the staff polite. I also asked for a system on line password for my wife and within 5 minutes she had received a text. Well done Crookhorn Surgery, I will be using this surgery if possible in future.

Flu Jab/Blood Test

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Appointment was for the flu jab and a blood test, the blood test having already been cancelled from a week earlier. Had the flu jab, no problem apart from still having a bruise ten days later, but the nurse was unable to do the blood test and so had to re- book. Staff are first rate and respectful in difficult times.

Trying to get an appointment

This is a review for Heyward Road Surgery & Practice

Trying to get an appointment is a hard task. There are too many surgeries in the Portsdown Practice. I gave up trying in the end. On the phone for 15 to 20 minutes. Still number 8 in the queue. Not good. I know it isn't the fault of the Practice, but surely there is a better way. It should go back to how it use to be. Should be able to phone or go round to Heyward Surgery. Plus how do you get to the other Surgeries!!, if you haven't got a car!!. Getting to a bus stop for certain Surgeries is a long walk. Not good if it is pouring with rain.

There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. Flu jab

I attended the surgery for my annual flu jab last week, I had made an appointment but was surprised that other people just walked in. I originally received a text to say to book an appointment on line which I was unable to do so I emailed and they made an appointment for me. At no time was I informed that I could just turn up without an appointment as has happened other years this would have been more convenient for me as I could have decided when I wanted to go and not be tied to an appointment,

Doctor appointment with a female Training to be a doctor

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I had a good appointment with a young female who is in training and checked everything with another doctor on Monday morning. She did appropriate tests and listened well to all my concerns and I felt she cared a lot about the worries I have at this time. She has organized me to have a scan and really made me feel like she was a qualified doctor already as she knew what to do and the questions she asked. She is going to be a great doctor when she is fully qualified.

Where have all the Doctors Gone!

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I have visited this surgery twice recently and on both occasions was seen by a Practice Nurse, Simone and Laura, both of whom were friendly, pleasant and helpful. However having had 5 different types of antibiotics, it was reassuring eventually to actually speak to a doctor and receive something to cure my UTI.

Invisible receptionist

This is a review for Heyward Road Surgery & Practice

We waited outside to be let in. The receptionist was sat in a position which did not allow her to see the door. It was not until a second member of staff appeared and told her there was someone waiting to come in that we were able to enter.
The nurse was excellent both personally and professionally.
