My wife and I had appointments for the Flu jab. She went first while I sat in the car with our dog. She came out about 10 minutes later and I went in. There was a receptionist who asked me what did I want, I said I had come for my Flu jab, she asked if I had an appointment, and I said yes 12.25. She said I was to book in on the booking in board, but it did not have me on it, (I later found out that my wife had the same trouble, we apparently were not booked in). The Nurse came down and asked me if I was Mr. Breedon? I said I was and she took me to the Nurses room and gave me my Jab and also took my Blood pressure. She was the only one who seemed to know what they were doing at the Surgery, and I have to say that over the past 2 years things have gone downhill at Crookhorn Surgery.
For example, In September 2018 I had a fall and tore the skin off of my shin. As it was a Sunday I went to St. Mary's walk in Centre and they cleaned and dressed the wounds and told me to go to my surgery on the Tuesday to have the dressing changed. I went into the surgery on the Monday and asked for an appointment for the following day and was told that there was no vacancy for three weeks. I explained about my fall and was told sorry but we still have no vacancy. I returned to St. Mary's the next day and they dressed the wound and said they were getting in touch with the surgery and low and behold I was given Tuesdays and Fridays appointments. Unfortunately, I developed three leg ulcers and after two months of dressings and going to a private hospital Paying a lot of money, I was operated on the leg and have a scar from my ankle to my belly button. So I do not have a great deal of faith in our Surgery.

Quite satisfied with facilities and how I was treated as a patient.

Warm friendly welcome, clear instructions on what to do, called through for appointment on time, no waiting around.

Have no problem with anything to do with my appointment, the receptionist realised the importance of my call and reacted positively to fit me in.

The doctor explained that he is a trainee GP, but he was very efficient. He appears to have diagnosed the problem. The only slight problem is waiting over a week for a blood test.

Great group of helpful people.

Had couple of times with no temp check but immediately it was mentioned somebody took action

Get Covid 19 but feel patient care is suffering due to lack of support from the doctors practice, Portsmouth has been one of the safest places so why the doctors difficult to get basic prescriptions etc may as you taken on so many surgeries you could rotate the Covid hub

It’s the first time l have been to the surgery since the Covid outbreak. l entered the surgery to make a flu jab appointment, everyone who entered had their temperature taken and had to use hand sanitiser If staying. I was able to have my flu jab done more or less straight away. In the waiting area the chairs were cordoned off with tape so you were certainly 2 metres apart. Very impressed.

First class experience, first class treatment, we ended up having more than just our flu jab. Doctor was friendly and efficient.

We were greeted by a very cheerful and professional Dr Swindel who gave my husband and I our
Vaccinations.

Very friendly staff that made sure that everything went smoothly and even had time for a quick chat to check on my welfare, lovely.

In and out very quick only a flu jab.

Turned up at the wrong surgery for my flu jab, no problem they cancelled my existing one and slotted me in.

Quick and painless as usual.

The guy that I see was excellent but as good as he was it kind of defeats the object when you get an emergency appointment but then you have to wait over a week to get a blood test.

Welcoming, efficient and thorough standard appointment. Clinician took numerous notes and registered an essential follow on retinal appointment on system.

Busy surgery so about 15min wait after appointment time. The nurse I saw was very professional and took the trouble to reassure me and explain the problem

Staff were friendly and happy to deal with my visit, following current guidelines with regards to face shields and hand sanitizer also check temperature of all people before entering the building.
