Review of Dr appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Overall, everything was fine. My appointment was scheduled for the same day, and the doctor listened carefully, took notes, and provided helpful feedback. I was given a prescription and referred for a blood test and ECG.

However, although this isn’t directly about the consultation, there was no mention of a follow-up.

The surgery has a “no news is good news” policy, but personally, I feel this can cause unnecessary stress. It leaves you waiting and worrying about your results, not knowing whether everything is actually okay or if something might have been missed.

Thank you for leaving feedback. As per most GP surgeries, we have thousands of test results come back to us each week, we just do not have the capacity to contact every single patient, especially when you are also able to check your own results via the NHS app.

Blood test

My appointment was on time and the nurse was very nice but I have very difficult veins which makes it difficult to take a blood test from me, she tried 3 different areas but to no avail.
It would be a good idea to have a nurse who specialises in blood taking, I had to go to QA to get it taken. I can only book a blood test through the NHS app or surgery app, no options are available for me to say I have difficult veins, I know I’m not the only patient that has this problem. I was happy with nurse and she was also very professional.

Very modern surgery

Even though only one person was in front of me, my appointment still ran late. The Staff were very friendly and seemed very efficient, but somehow the wrong blood test was completed and I have to do them again, so yet another thing to do.

Ongoing sore throat

After completing and submitting an online form, I received a call from the doctor and was booked in on a same day appointment. The person I saw was friendly and professional, checking my details, symptoms, asking questions and involving me in decisions/recommendations including a further hospital referral, which I am waiting to receive. Overall I was pleased with the way it all went and thought that the person I saw at the practice was very good.

Dr Nackvi best doctor in Portsmouth

Dr Nackvi was extremely efficient and knowledgable. He knew far more than all the hospital consultants I have seen in the last two years. He takes the time to explain and treats you like a himan being. Can't rate this doctor highly enough.
