Failed blood test

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Appointment for a blood test at Somerstown surgery.
Unable to take blood sample despite three attempts in different veins. Phlebotomist was very professional and friendly but gave no information regarding as to why this was happening. Booked me in for another test for the following week to allow the veins to heal.

I was asked to accept a call from a clinician PM and right on time I received the call.
Asked about the Tablets I was taking and other medicines which was fine but I forgot to mention one which is "Laxido" which I hope I will still get as without them I suffer from severe constipation, also I was invited to make an appointment with my surgery (Crookhorn) for a fasting blood test in Sept. Which I will do, A pleasant chat

My Visit

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

All staff that I interacted with were very professional and friendly. I was concerned about a health problem. ( I think I was not thinking clearly) I visited my local surgery for advice. Reception were very helpful. The Doctor 'phoned me very soon, and explained what I needed to do. I had to visit another Surgery within the group for a blood test. The Surgery was easy to find, and staff were very kind.
The Hospital telephoned me with an appointment very quickly.

Was not happy with the service of the doctor that I saw couldn't even be bothered to check just tell me my blood test was all normal but doesn't help me one little bit was told go to physio and with level if pain I'm in he couldn't even be bothered to exam me just said arthritis to everything without checking thoroughly I can't even book an appointment online so I can see a doctor I want to see

Diagnosis of Symptoms

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

First phoned the surgery on Wednesday 10th June with symptoms of raised temperature and swelling of right hand little finger. Also loss of appetite and fatigue. As the Surgery is closed it was suggested that I went to A&E at QA. A possible diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, from which I have never previously suffered. A&E found my temperature and blood pressure were both normal.
I phoned the surgery again on Monday 15th June as the swelling had now spread to both my thumbs and the wrists of both hands. This time a blood test was arranged at the Paulsgrove surgery. Results from that were phoned to me with a diagnosis of lack of Vitamin D. A supplement was prescribed, which I take daily. The swelling has now subsided, and temperature and appetite returned to normal.
