GP appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

It was the first time I went to that surgery because my surgery is Kings crescent. Dr very kind and polite. He listened to me and made me feel he cares about patients. He explain to me and gave me a link that I received in my mobile about my problem and diet to follow while I am waiting for my gastroscopy.

Mixed feelings

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

I came to the surgery for a blood test. The letter I received asked me to fast for 12 hours and bring a urine sample, which I did. My appointment was at 8am. I arrived early and was called a couple of minutes after 8am. The nurse was not aware that I needed to bring a urine sample but she took it from me anyway. I asked to have my blood pressure checked as I have been having some issues with it, as will be seen on my notes. The nurse said she didn't have time to do it as she is only allocated a certain number of minutes per patient. I do completely understand the time constraints on the doctors and nurses but I did feel disappointed about this. I was seen later than my appointment so that cut into the time I had with the nurse. She was perfectly polite and said she was smiling behind her mask but I can't help but feel a bit let down because I need to have my blood pressure checked and I was turned away. This could turn out to be a real issue for me.

Crookhorn Lane Surgery.

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I accompanied my wife who was in for an ecg. Unfortunately she had to go to hospital. The staff were very friendly and efficient and organised a taxi for me as I am disabled and unable to drive our car home. Top marks to all the staff I would highly recommend this surgery.

Diagnosis of vurtigo

After suffering for 9 weeks with dizziness for the first 8 weeks, and then terrible headaches, I was finally diagnosed with Labryntitus, and given antibiotics and an ear spray. The Nurse Practitioner that saw me was so sympathetic.

Everyone was like and made me feel safe. The long armed first bump, that the doctor aged to, was the first time I had touched another person in 4 months. It made me feel like the world wasnt such a bad place, for a few seconds. He then removed his gloves and apron, ready for the next patient.
