Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.

All safety about the coronavirus was very good.
Also the nurse that took my blood and blood pressure made me at easy as I hate needles.

Routine Blood Test
This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery
All COVID-19 precautions were in place by all staff and the surgery only accessible if you had an appointment. Social distancing was maintained in the waiting area. Nurse fully protected. A good experience in difficult times.

I think the gp I saw needs to be a little more aware of good bedside manners. He was abrupt, dismissive and unable to give satisfactory answers about procedures in the new circumstances - understandable at the beginning of lock down but 12weeks in I expect a bit more info or at least an offer to find out.

Way too quick diagnosis
This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery
The diagnosis was way too quick. Without any tests at all, just a bit of pushing my tummy around and asking if it hurts. No urine sample asked or anything. The medication given is not working so have to go back as things have gotten worse now. Sometimes taking more time and doing tests can avoid wasting the professionals time and giving the patient comfort ASAP.

Friendly staff
This is a review for Somerstown Surgery
The receptionist was much nicer and much more friendly compared to those at my usual practice Kingston Cresent Surgery, so that put me at ease straight away. I did have to wait 20 minutes after my appointment time which is okay, however with a mask on, and a very hot day i was boiling and very uncomfortable- i assumed the air con may not have been turned on.
