This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Only problem was the insistence of a mask, it would have been nice to be aware of rules beforehand, also no reminder as I get from Kingston Crescent, when I'm sure I would have been told. Fortunately I did have mask in my pocket or the appointment would have been cancelled. All went well once admitted.

Thank you for your feedback and we are pleased all was well after you arrived at the surgery. To reassure you, we are not turning people away for not having a face covering. Obviously if government advice changes we will have to review. We have sent text/email notifications of this and have put it on our social media but we realise not everyone has a mobile or social media access.

The person I saw was very efficient but annoyed that I had only been booked for 10 mins when I really needed a 15 min appointment as I had requested . Everything was well explained and I am happy with the service I received

Excellent and listened!

I was put at the centre and listened too, making me feel confident.

I was surprised cocodamol had been taken off my long term repeat prescription list and applied to have it reinstated. Unfortunately i missed the call but the message left, suggested that cocodamol was back on my list. Thank you.

Outstanding service and help, even with the Covid situation

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I hadn’t been feeling great for some time, but with the way things were I didn’t want to burden my Surgery. One day though I felt quite bad and thought I would ring the surgery even if it was just for advice, the receptionist was lovely and told me I would get a call from someone soon. I spoke to Alan he was a paramedic, and he was fantastic! I explained all my symptoms and he told me he would like to see me at the surgery! When I got there he had already arranged blood tests and and ECG with the nurse to have after my examination! The nurse also very friendly and helpful, I have seen her before in the past and is always so lovely. Alan was fantastic, and I would definitely see him again listened to everything I said. The next day I had my results which was amazing and showed what the reason was for me feeling so unwell! I have now had my treatment and feel so much better, thank you Alan and the lovely nurse, and all the staff there keeping things going, and ensuring safety.

I have never been to Somerstown Surgery before now

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

After quite a long time of not feeling myself and so exhausted all the time, I found that after blood tests I have low B12, due to the situation I had to go to Somerstown for my loading injections, I had to go every other day, and I have to say all of the staff and nurses that I was helped by were amazing, extremely friendly and helpful and ensured that social distancing was adhered too. I would be completely happy to go back there again. Thank you to everyone.

I was very anxious about this because I had not been near other people since receiving my shield letter. The waiting room was empty and I was quickly called into the surgery. The nurse was in full PPE and the blood was expertly taken.

I would like to say the people in the hub were very friendly and helpful, the only problem I had was finding the right door which was open, having never been there before I waited at the wrong door as there was no notice on the closed doors to tell me which way to go .A road sweeper was the only one to me which way to go .
