Phone Consultations

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

Doctors were very kind and patient with me as I could barely speak, my chest infection was so bad. They were quick to diagnose my problems and arrange for my medication to be sent out immediately.
Now awaiting the results of my blood tests!
It would help to be told exactly what my problem was as it lasted for several weeks.
Is it possible to find out if I have had the Covid-19 Virus?

Diabetic review

Very impressed with the whole visit to the hub today from the moment I entered to the moment I left.
Your covid precautions were spot on and gave me confidence in actually moving around the hub.
I have nothing but high praise for the practitioner that did my review who has an excellent manner and treated me with utmost respect.
I am not allowed to mention her name but it would be nice to think this endorsement was relayed to her.

Appointment at Crookhorn Surgery

My Appointment was booked following a message on my mobile for blood test and BP, did try to book on line as on previous occasions but system would not allow so booked via phone call to crook horn answered quickly despite current, lady very helpful and appointment made for following week.
On arrival greeted by receptionist who checked I had a mask and posted me towards login screen.
Went round to waiting area which had been reduced to a few chairs for safety, shortly after was called in by nurse (very pleasant and reassuring) and BP taken manually as in the past electronic one seemed to read high (believed to be white coat syndrome) bloods taken painlessly and advised results have been coming back quickly. Phoned by Doctor the next evening with results impressed overall with service under the present Covid circumstances.

Welcoming, pleasant, friendly and efficient.

Went in for a fasting blood test, was welcomed at the door, asked safety questions (covid) then took a seat which were well spaced out. Called in on time for the blood test, then out in just a few minutes. Very efficient.

I visited Somerstown surgery at 13.45 on Friday 12th of June...I must say the lady on reception was the nicest lady I have ever met in a doctors surgery, she was polite and helpful and certainly did not have an attitude! This lady is a credit to your surgery I am only sorry I did not get her name.

Phoned the practice in the morning. Dr called back within the hour and arranged an appointment for me later the same day. Arrived at the surgery the Doctor saw me at the appointed time and was able to swiftly diagnose the problem and put my mind at rest

Overall excellent service however can be very frustrating trying to get to communicate with a gp as queuing times mean by the time you've reached the reception all appt slots have gone so generally you end up not bothering to try.
