Severe sinus issues on going/ fatigue and tiredness/ dull headache

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Have had an on going breathing / sinus issue for quite some time .
A different doctor was kind enough to give me a longer medication supply in the hope it clears things up as I hadn't slept well in a long while, which I am now able to do!!
Dr Manning wouldn't help me on this matter as said it was just a allergy, but certainly a week into my medication and already feel much better, no headaches and able to work without lack of rest.

Asthma Review

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Had an Asthma review this week. Nurse contacted me by text initially to let me know I was due one and at what time and day she would call me. She rang when she said she would and spent a good amount of time talking to me. She was really friendly, polite, thorough and explained everything clearly to me, asking questions where necessary, offering the best advice and giving me time to ask any questions that I had. A really positive phone call and has made me feel better about my Asthma which has returned.

6 monthly diabetes clinic

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

The nurse was on time with telephone call. I had had a blood test the week before and was worried because of the lockdown I hadn’t been able to do what I was supposed to do with regards food but was really surprised my diabetes was better than six months ago. I was told it was because I had been out walking. I did it very early in the morning as I had to be careful because of age and underlying health problems. It was a very good chat and helped me no end after being anxious.

E Consultation

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

1st time I used this service.
I received treatment faster than if I had gone to Surgery.
Blood tests had result in 2 days.
Started treatment on day 3.
My sincere thanks to the Doctor who first responded, I do not remember her name. I had blood tests same day after our phone conversation. Dr Ozzard phoned me the following day around 5.30 pm.
I had first treatment at Crookhorn Surgery the next morning.
This is the future way for Consultations. No doubt about that.

Urinary Problem

Contacted the Practise with my health concerns, spoke to the Senior Nurse, extremely helpful and arranged for me to see a Doctor at Cosham Park House that afternoon, Saw the GP on time, very good patient relationship and thorough check up, So a few fears were removed and ongoing treatment arranged

Cardiac Review

Contacted by 'Souki' ? carrying out a Cardiac Review and Cardiac History etc.
Extremely professional and competent, very good telephone manner and able to assist in many ways as to what to do etc. Was not completely focused on one thing, but fully explained how other problems I am currently going through can and may be heart related. Advised me that he would send a full Update Report to Dr. Kydd for consideration, spent 30+ minutes on my welfare and check up, Very positive for me and representing the Surgery, now awaiting possible follow up from GP!

Usually good but not always clear

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Recently was asked to go for blood test. I was told someone would call me to check if I had any COVID19 symptoms then I would be given a time. This did not happen and I was informed I had missed my appt. I was then told the same thing again. I was confused. I wasn't given an appt I was told someone would call me ??? I usually really like this surgery and I have had no problems.

Needs to do more

Not a very good surgery, not very helpful, never get an appointment without being almost Dead. Never get through on the phone and then when you do after about a week or more they try to talk you out of an appointment. Also need to be able to do more on line.

Due to the current pandemic where we can appointments are carried out over the telephone, however if it is assessed that a face to face appointment is required this will be arranged for you. Doctors visit during Covid 19

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I rang the surgery and a Dr called me back and after discussing my symptoms made an appointment for an hours time. All social distancing rules were rigidly applied. I felt for the Dr in full PPE as it was a hot day. All in All I cannot fault the surgery and having moved to the Portsdown Group from my previous surgery of 35 years have nothing but good to say about them.
