Genuinely care about their patients

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I called the surgery to discuss the best way to request a repeat prescription. I was greeted by a very warm and friendly staff member who was only too happy to help me set up online. After my request was processed I was called the next day (unexpectedly) by a respiratory nurse, just wanting to know how I was doing. I found this really comforting to know the team genuinely care about their patients wellbeing during the current pandemic. So very grateful.

Crookhorn Lane Surgery

The surgery had a good system in place for social distancing. Plenty of hand sanitiser available. Staff were very friendly.

Picking up medication and blood test

Picked up medication on time well after 3 trips because of the queues.
Only to be expected.
Had my blood test ok , the lady was very nice, just waiting for results.

I recently needed an emergency appointment, from an already stretched practice due to COVID-19. I was called promptly, diagnosed quickly and picked a prescription up within 5 hours. Excellent service and contact throughout.

First class treatment in testing times

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I missed my tri monthly B12 vaccination through being hospitalised. The surgery got me in next day and also gave me a flu jab. The doctor then rang me within 39 mins and arranged a sick note and a prescription. First class treatment in testing times.

Doctor was amazing. I explained one of my prescription tablets had run out and chemists said they were out of them. I just needed to know if ok not to take them, 7 oclock a man came to door to deliver my prescription.

Last week, I was surprised to learn that the appointment for my routine blood test was still available at this very difficult time. I have been a patient at the Portsdown Group Practice for over 40 years and cannot praise all of the Doctors and Staff enough.

Excellent care from the Doctor and staff

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I had contacted the Surgery as I felt I needed a Prostate Cancer blood test. Given the current virus situation I thought I would not be seen by anyone but this was not the case. The Doctor contacted me and arranged an appointment and whilst at the surgery they very kindly took blood for the test. All this at a time of extreme pressure on the system.

Last visit

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

Received a call back from a doctor very quickly and an appointment was made for that morning which was great. It was at the start of the Coronavirus in feb and felt happy the doctor checked things out before I was allowed to the surgery.
Once at the surgery spoke with a different doctor ( believe it was a health care worker) he was also efficient.

Only down side was when I picked up my prescription and got it home realised I had 3 weeks worth of antibiotics but I hadn’t been explained to why? I knew this was a long course and would of been good to understand why.
