Came in for tetanus jab

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I usually go to Crookhorn surgery. Cosham Park House surgery staff were welcoming and polite and the doctor was very nice. I was able to go in quickly for my booster jabs.
The only problem was parking at the surgery - it was difficult finding a space.

Very friendly and thoughtful staff

All the staff were hospitable, kind and friendly and accommodating even though I was so late for my appointment. Thank you so much for that. Just wish we could nice coffee at the Paulsgrove and Cosham surgeries as well - it’s only fair.

I have a b12 every 12 weeks. I dread this but always ask for Mandy at Cosham Park House, she is so gentle. I would hate for her to leave this practice. Never heard anybody say their injections whatever they are for hurts. Worth her weight in gold.

I felt that the doctor I saw really understood my situation and gave me a good examination. He has referred me to a specialist and that appointment came through very quickly. I am seeing the specialist tomorrow so I feel the whole process has been dealt with very well.

Vaccinations

I requested a fresh pneumonia vaccination, as my last one was in 1998. Although it wasn't due until June 2020 when I will be 65, the surgery agreed that I am in a vulnerable group with at least two underlying health conditions, so it was given to me 3 months early, due to the coronavirus and my travel plans.
