My last visit was for a blood pressure check

I was sent a text message to have my blood pressure checked, as I found the reception room blood pressure monitor was too open for a personal self check up, I ask if it could be done by the nurse which was booked in for the next day a very quick response made me very pleased with the service given.

Pharmacist helped me in so many ways

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

My appointment at Cosham was to give feedback re my medications and blood test. All my medications were explained as had never been done before. Also the results of my blood test explained in plain english. There were recommendations re foods to eat to help with shortfalls . A removal of a medication and ECG were to be referred to Queen Alexandra, the results of this communication were referred to me shortly after I arrived home. The thoroughness involved and the explanations have left me feeling so much better and alleviated any stress was feeling about concerns over my health.

Short and sweet

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

In two week I dealt with three surgeries. The most difficult thing was getting an appointment in the first place. I wouldn't call it an emergency and its was not routine, I was confused. Luckily for me I am not a regular user of your services. For being such you also said I could have a tetanus and MMR at the same time.
Once I was guided through the appointment system the treatment I recieved between the three surgeries was brilliant. I could not fault it at all. Staff were helpful, understanding and professional. I have been telling everyone I know what wonderful service I received. Thank you.

Blood Pressure Visit

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I had to have my blood pressure and blood test done, my appointment was for 9.30, but I was seen earlier, the visit was pleasant, the nurse was chatty and efficient. I am fortunate enough not to have to visit often, but when I have, I am always treated well. In the past the surgery was very helpful dealing with my Mother who had Dementia, she was always seen by the same doctor, which meant she never got confused. Thankyou.

Surgery could be more accessible

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

From a bricks and mortar perspective, the building is dated, and is far short of modern standards even when the latest set are even more forgiving.

As a service, getting an appointment urgently is effectively near impossible given the stated 'best way' is to
1. Get to the surgery in person at 8am to request a call back.
2. Dash home.
3. Speak to doctor and maybe...
4. Dash back to surgery.

Not at all practical when one's carers arrive at 8am... Getting there is a 20 minute run (in all weathers) in wheelchair.

Appointments

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

Was very happy with my drs appointment was a little late but nothing major. I'm sorry to say that making an appointment is very hard and quite stressful I don't know how older patients cope. Phone service is awful never any appointments and your left on the phone queue for ages I understand that certain times of the day are busier but perhaps you could organise your staffing levels to accomadate the heavy call times. More staff more doctors.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.
