Travel Vaccinations

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

Booked online via the surgery website and was contacted a few days later with the availability of dates and times for the Kingston Surgery (ours is Crookhorn but part to the group). Nurse was very informative and told us what we would be getting. Overall a good service and please we are now ready for our trip in the summer.

A GP at last

I was very surprised at being allowed an appointment with an actual doctor at my surgery. For once I didn't feel 'fobbed off'. I was given plenty of time too.

I have regular appointments for blood tests and never wait longer than 5 mins plus the staff are always polite and welcoming.

Lovely to get an appointment

I have previously struggled to get an appointment, but on this occasion got an appointment within a week of calling. The GP I saw was lovely and approachable, I did not feel rushed despite pressures I know all GP practises are under at present. I felt like I was listened to and included in my appointment. Emergency appointment

Very quick response for an emergency appointment. I phoned at 8, had to hold to speak to an operator but then got a call back from a doctor almost immediately and an appointment with the nurse 45 minutes later.

Somerstown Surgery

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

I think that some of the staff are really good. When I went to top up on some pills, the desk lady told me I'm overdue a shot I didn't know I had and she got it sorted for me that day which was really good.

I feel like the only problem is trying to book an appointment, it's really hard to get a normal one and I've never really been informed on how to do it but the doctors also have always been lovely when I've been as well as the nurses and such - you can get the odd one out however which isn't usually as nice.

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.
