Always there when I need them

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

If I need a appointment or my kids we get one, it's is difficult to get a everyday appointment but emergency ones this year so far I haven't had any troubles getting them for myself or my kids.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Always great patient service

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I cannot fault the Cosham Park House Surgery. It has always come through brilliantly on the days when I needed it most.
Recently I was referred very quickly for a lump I found, confirmed to be breast cancer by QA hospital a short time after my referral. Surgery and radiotherapy followed. Only months later, after again being seen at the surgery on the day I rang in, I have now been diagnosed with a gall stone. I have always found the reception side as helpful as could be and of course, the nurses and doctors are wonderful. Thank you NHS.

Courteous, helpful and efficient

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Reception team (although not always visible) have been helpful and friendly. Medical staff excellent, conversant and enlightening. The attached Lloyds pharmacy has grown from a shambles a year ago to an efficient, helpful team in recent months too.

Perfect service for elderly people

Medication and Appointments

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I need to request repeat medication every month for my son. It’s always requested online but it’s never right, it’s never all there and I have to call each time a request is put in. I’m always told no one can help me on the phone and I have to go into the surgery to get it resolved. I do this and it’s the same every month!

The appointment line is awful, you can never get through or when you do your in a queuing system for 40 minutes sometimes.
When you can speak to someone they are usually very helpful but by the time you get to speak to a human and not a automated system you’ve usually had enough.

My last visit

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I had stomach pains. The doctor I saw identified an infection and prescribed antibiotics. Pains got worse but receded after 2 days and then stopped after 5, so the antibiotics must have worked. I was really very very pleased about this.
I would prefer to see the same doctor each time, but all doctors are friendly, competent and professional.
