Thank you for your feedback, we are currently working hard to reduce our 'Do Not Attends,' in October at Kingston Crescent 135 appointments were not attended, this is a total of lost clinician time of 55.3 hours or 2.3 weeks, an average cost of £1,729. If these had been cancelled more appointments would have been available to others.

Practice Nurse appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

This was a routine Blood Pressure test - following increased blood pressure medication specified by the Cardiac unit at the QAH . As always, the nursing staff were very kind and proficient - and as usual, the appointment was on time. Nothing needs to be improved.

Cosham Park House

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Although getting a bit tired in parts, I feel this surgery in the heart of Cosham community offers a good all round service. It is often rare to see a GP if you are ill as appointments get booked so far in advance, however there is usually a nurse or registrar who can help as when you are ill you want help straight away to get well and to not take time off work.

Inefficiency

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I had an appointment with a nurse given to me at my previous visit but it was not on the days listing, I was offered another appt. for later in the day but it was not convenient to me. From the beginning to the end of the conversation I do not remember being given an apology. I was treated as if it was my fault, fortunately I was with a friend who corroborated the making of the appointment at my previous visit and the attitude of the receptionist. We both felt very disgruntled when leaving, however I was told I could do a self BP reading which they would record on my notes.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.
