Doctors receptionist always gets bad reviews even though they are just doing their job. This practice is the best I’ve ever had. I want to thank you all for your hard work and the way you try to sort appointments.

Appointment are never available I think this needs sorting out I rang two day in A row and no appointment for my mum so a telephone consultation a week later it’s a disgrace

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Last weeks visit

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

The whole experience in the surgery was brilliant but it left me feel ill for a week. I've been prescribed a medication that wasnt meant to be mixed with ones I was already on. No one asked me if I'm taking any other medication nor was that checked. I found it out the hard way when I became really ill the next day and researched online myself. Its been a week and I only just starting to feel ok.

Explained everything brilliantly

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I recently visited the surgery with my daughter for an appointment with Dr Gohil. He did not keep us waiting at all and was absolutely fantastic and put my daughter at ease straight away. He was very considerate and explained everything brilliantly.

Ok going treatment

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I have an On going condition which Dr Mannings is usually the one I see to get help.
He's tried lots of meds and they have helped for a while.
Waiting to see Southampton hospital about it in May 2020.

Appointment

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

The system to make a phone appointment is appalling. Waiting for such a long time then had a couple of malfunctions as I was down to number 4 after about 20 minutes or longer only for a message come on to tell me there is something wrong the system. Can never get an appointment quick when I needed a doctor always one or two weeks before I can get fitted in. Doctors are great but the service of getting an appointment is not.

Problem in Ear

Told to go to pharmacy to have it checked when I saw pharmacist he told me cannot do as don’t have the equipment or training, he told me to dial 111 who told me to see a doctor so just going round in circles I ended up getting olive oil & hoping this would work all in all not very happy

Crookhorn surgery

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

On the whole I have always had good experience with them, always efficient except when I make an appointment for a set time I don't like to be kept waiting well beyond the time as I usually have to take time off work to attend. Also I recently was told by the pharmacy that they would no longer do repeat prescriptions and would have to go online with the surgery. Why has no one from the surgery told me this and what to do to get repeat prescriptions done?
