Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Friendly, professional, helpful

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

Friendly, professional, helpful and approachable staff. Very discreet and respectful of your privacy. Very thorough and listen to your concerns and respond accordingly. They make sure that you understand what they are saying and what treatment would be appropriate. Are not patronising and you don't have to wait to long before being seen. Very pleased with the service provided by Paulsgrove surgery.

Everything was very positive

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

My recent appointment was good experience. Cosham is not my normal surgery, but I was pleased to get the appointment. I actually arrived late because of traffic, but they still saw me. I only had to wait for 15 minutes. The doctor was lovely, he actually listened to me. He reviewed my medication and did the usual health checks afterwards he gave me a MMR and Tetenus injection, which I wasn't expecting, but it was all ok. Everything was very positive.

Atmosphere was pleasant

I couldn't have been looked after any better. Dr Monnery explained every step of the procedure and his nurse constantly offered support. The atmosphere was pleasant and everyone was very kind.

Staff were extremely helpful

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I received a text reminder for my flu jab. Using the pop in service I was able to do this in my lunch break, very handy. There was a small queue upon arrival and a 15 minute wait but the staff were extremely helpful. I even got a two-for-one deal as my tetanus booster was also due. When asking for confirmation that I could get treatment for something else over the counter at the chemist I was given advice. The chemist redirected me to the doctor and the receptionist put me straight into a list for an advice call. This is a new service which I found really useful as I knew I didn't need a full triage service for a minor ailment.

Doctor was so helpful in every way

This is a review for Heyward Road Surgery & Practice

I come to Hayward Road because as normal, my own doctor couldn't see me after 2 weeks of trying to see someone when I was in a lot of pain, so came to Hayward Road and to be honest, I was seen straight away. And, the doctor was so helpful in every way, so I think I will go there all the time, I think a lot could do with improving such as the phone line situation and in how long they take to answer, as sometimes I've waited an hour before I've even got through to talk to anyone, and when you do they tell you to ring tomorrow because of no appointments. So you end up doing it all again, its just ridiculous how long you do have to wait to see someone.

Was made to feel embarrassed about my eczema which was purpose of calling and was told more than once that my condition was badly managed. As a working mum I was seeking advice to soothe my condition - not reinforcement that it was my own fault it was so bad. I was hardly looked at during consultation - he was more interested in checking on the computer.
