Contacting the Surgery and my Recent Appointment

My recent appointment for a blood test was good. I didn't have to wait long. However, the blood test itself has left me with a huge bruise. I received a text today asking me to make an appointment to speak to the in-house Pharmacist regarding the results. I have spent about two hours on and off this afternoon waiting on the 'phone for someone to answer, so that I could do this. I never got through, even though you apparently value my call! It is very frustrating, and has left me feeling very angry! It isn't even as though it is just today. Your 'phone is always like this!

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

I find the surgery too small being in a wheelchair and the consultation rooms are too small manoeuvring a wheelchair, other than that it is a nice surgery and you don’t have to wait long to be seen.

Pleased to be seen so quickly

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I recently came to the surgery to have a second MMR and Tetnus injection. I did not have an appointment but was seen in about 15 minutes. I asked the doctor when I would be old enough to have a Shingles injection and she said that I could have one then. I was very pleased to be seen so quickly.

I was sent for Ultrasound on liver then got a text to say doctor needs to discuss the results so it said make a Routine appointment rang several times wait wait wait then then went to surgery to be told no routine appointment s left that day Girl on reception said come back next week. Not Monday Tuesday Wednesday she said they busy. She said try Thursday be here for 9.45 cause there be queuing out the door so hopefully I get appointment this week
