Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you find our Reception staff in need of further training, we would like to assure you that all of our staff are fully trained in customer care. They do, however, work in what can, at times, be a stressful environment and have to endure unacceptable levels of abuse. My doctor put my mind at rest

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

It was nice to be seen few minutes early as I work so only have little time for appointment. My doctor put my mind at rest but also gave me lots of information that I need, took time with me, reassessed my medication, I am very pleased.

Emergency appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

After a call from the gp it was felt that I needed to be seen. I am a patient of Crookhorn surgery and this was my first visit to this surgery. I checked my self in and was called for my appointment within 1 minute. I was seen by a nurse who was extremely polite and very welcoming. She diagnosed that I had shingles and was very informative and had a very caring nature.

Having not used the surgery for several years I was unaware of the self check in process, so got to the back of the long queue and was told rather abruptly, to self check in, that the screen is big enough, how could I miss it. Also over heard the receptionist shouting at an elderly lady to go and self check in. Her words to the lady were ' shut up and listen to me'. Felt very sorry for the obviously distressed patient.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Blood test

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

There was minimal waiting time and the test was quick. An explanation was given of the procedure and that it would take about four working days for the results to be available. The results would then be reviewed by a GP and that I would be contacted by telephone if any follow up was needed. The whole procedure took only a few minutes and I was quite satisfied with the overall treatment.
