This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I call the surgery on a mon evening. With a few concerns about my mum the reception staff were fantastic and listened to my worries . I called the next day to make an appointment were I was meet by the very helpful reception staff who arranged for a doctor to call me back he did 10 minutes later he listened to me an made her an appointment .once we arrived we both whent in to see
the nurse who was extremely attentive and wonderful she listened and consoled with the doctor I was amazing by the fantastic service my mother got at the hands of these fantastic people I would definitely recommend this surgery fantastic

Waiting weeks to get an appointment as I work I cant be on the phone in a massive queue and then when I finally get an appointment it's with a paramedic that cant do anything because hes not a gp so have to make another appointment, I just live with my problems because it's too much hassle trying to get to see a doctor, what a joke!!

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.

Trying to get an appointment is like trying to meet the queen if you're ill you want to see a doctor the same day or the next not 2 weeks later & you don't want to go to the walk in centre & wait stupid hours to be seen you could be dead by then.
