Unable to get requested day and time within three week time span at Heyward Road and had to alter my commitment to a very elderly relative in order to be seen within three weeks! However notwithstanding, once seen by yet another different GP was treated with respect and proficiency.

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.

We are sorry that you find our Reception / Contact Centre staff to have " a poor attitude " we would like to assure you that all of our staff are fully trained in customer care. They do, however, work in what can, at times, be a stressful environment and have to endure unacceptable levels of abuse. Thank you for your feedback, we are currently working hard to reduce our 'Do Not Attends,' in September at Kingston Crescent 51 appointments were not attended, this is a total of lost clinician time of 30.5 hours or 1.3 weeks, an average cost of £763. If these had been cancelled more appointments would have been available to others.

Didn't know what to expect from this but the nurse talked me through everything and explained it well. Much quicker than the 30-40 mins quoted in the letter but the nurse said it can take longer for some people, depends on your answers. Basically quick and reassuring.
