Respectful and professional

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I arrived ahead of my appointment time. Was advised very politely to book in using the auto system. System worked fine. Appointment went as planned with only a five minute delay. Was advised I was due a flu jab and received this injection at the end of my appointment. Everyone i interacted with was both respectful and professional.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you find our Reception staff to be " quote " we would like to assure you that all of our staff are fully trained in customer care. They do, however, work in what can, at times, be a stressful environment and have to endure unacceptable levels of abuse. Thank you for your comments. We do, of course, recognise the clinical benefits of providing continuity of care to our patients and, wherever possible, we do provide this. However, due to the well-publicised increasing demand on Primary Care, this is regrettably not always possible. All of our clinicians have access to full patient clinical records which ensures that they can make properly informed decisions regarding a patient's care.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

I have been a patient at Cosham Park House for many years I feel the practice is going backwards instead of forward I say this because it’s harder to appointment when you need one it takes so long on the phone that when you get to speak to someone you are then told all appointments are gone ring back at 2 or 8am the next morning if you want a routine go online at 7pm or ring at 10 am by the time you through all appointments are gone this never use to happen, all staff , doctors and nurses are doing a great job it’s just to hard to get an appointment.
