Was so much easier to be able to “pop in” for flu jab (and MMR and Tetanus)! Rather than make appt. Only waited a few minutes.

Flu Jab, Excellent service

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Arrived at 0800 for my annual Flu Jab.
Receptionist said I also required a Tetanus booster according to the records and would fit me in with a doctor as soon as.
Within 10 mins I was vaccinated by Dr Kyd and out the door.
Excellent service !

I was sent to Cosham as there were no appointments at Crookhorn where I live. My appointment was for 3.30 I eventually saw a paramedic nurse practitioner at 4.30.

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I love Crookhorn surgery and the staff however I really do not like the new telephone system you either get cut off straight away or you phone and get the same message from the doctor only to be cut off again. It took me 5 attempts before I actually got to the you are 13 th in line . It also appears to bepretty difficult to get a routine appointment . I appreciate that doctors are busy but I do not believe your appointment system has progressed for the better.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

They do, however, work in what can, at times, be a stressful environment and have to endure unacceptable levels of abuse.
