This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

After several texts from the surgery I booked an appointment for my flu and Covid vaccines. I attended just before my allocated time to find a long queue outside.. That was not unexpected but people in the queue were saying they didn’t have appointments. They were just told to come between 6pm and 7pm. Why are we given appointments when it doesn’t matter. I will be going to the Pharmacy in future. I am nearly 80 years old and find it tiring to be waiting about outside in the cold and dark.

Thank you for leaving feedback, I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed. We generally book appointments as a guide, as we have a certain amount of vaccines. If these appointments are not fully booked, or we have a surplus of vaccines then we may tell patients to come along. We also cannot control whether people are turning up early for their appointments.

It went extremely well.
I was seen on time by a lovely lady Doc.
Was listened to and checked out, came away with a prescription for some antibiotics (4 days dosage).
So just hoping that they do what is required and cure my problem.

I came to have my flu jab and Covid jab .

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

The lady was not very pleasant, she said you cannot have your Covid jab, you are not 75. I said I am on the 2nd January and I have 3 texts on my phone from this surgery asking me to come and have the 2 jabs. I offered to show her but she said just a minute I will go see someone. No apology when she came back, she just said you are lucky you just fall into the bracket before the 31 st January.

Good caring experience

The surgery seemed friendly and personal. The nurse I saw was kind and friendly and explained exactly what she was doing as we went along. She gave me advice for aftercare if needed. I was very happy with the care I received.

We have received lots of positive feedback around our new Anima system and we have been able to increase capacity, of course we still have limited resources. The earlier in the day that you submit an Anima request, the more likely you are to get an appointment.
