I had no problem with my blood test on the 12th September 2019. But on the 16th September l received a text to repeat it in 4 weeks time, which is worrying me as l don't know why and suffering with depression it is not helping at all, just making me worry more.

Helpful, informative and thorough

I was able to book an on-line appointment on the day and only waited about 5 minutes to see the GP who was very helpful, informative and thorough. I had not seen Dr Kipgen before and was very impressed.

The girls on reception try very hard to fit you in with medical attention which is always a problem due to the shortage of doctors. This visit was for a back sore which was seen by a nurse practitioner. We also took the opportunity to have outstanding injections and our annual flu jab.

Thank you for your feedback, we are currently working hard to reduce our 'Do Not Attends,'in August at Cosham Park House, 68 appointments were not attended, this is a total of lost clinician time of 50.7 hours or 2.1 weeks, an average cost of £1,500. If these had been cancelled more appointments would have been available to others.

Pleasantly surprised

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

First time I’ve visited Kingston Crescent and I was very pleasantly surprised. The waiting room is spacious and I had a very good experience with a young health care assistant. I had a check up for my pre diabetes with the HCA and in the consultation, some other concerns arose about my blood pressure. The HCA took her time investigating the issue and she eased my worries by taking blood tests and liaising with a doctor to find out what could be wrong. I ended up finding out the reason for my low blood pressure which put my mind at ease! I wouldn’t mind visiting there again.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.
