Diagnosed and treated for extreme back pain

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Taken to what I consider to be my excellent, informative, caring and friendly doctors practice regards extreme back pain. Urine sample tested, prescribed antibiotics and strong pain killers and advised to drink lots of water. Next day sent to AE in intense pain and diagnosed with kidney infection following CT scan, drip and morphine, Needed a few more days for antibiotics to have effect.

Cosham Park House Surgery

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

On calling the surgery and waiting a short time, I was offered a return Telecom from a Doctor. I received a call within 30 mins and was given an appointment for 09.30am that morning. The Nurse Practitioner/Paramedic that I saw was thorough with various checks before coming to a diagnosis. He prescribed a suitable Antibiotic and also advise a blood test for further analysis. This he arranged to take place within 30 minutes by a practice Nurse.

Appointment easy to book on line, Have not seen this doctor before but she was very helpful and booked another follow up appointment with nurse the same week for blood test, also updated my tetanus.

Very satisfied with the care

I didn't have to wait long in surgery about 10 mins max, 5 mins over my appointment time, I was welcomed by the nurse practitioner and given appropriate care and also got given a tetanus jab as she see on the records I needed one, I am very pleased they have these notifications come up on the screen, I was very satisfied with the care I received, always took my health a priority and my condition I have always suffered, well done health team, amazing job.

Appointment booked online

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Booked appointment online as not urgent, which is relatively easy provided you are logged on and very quick to book the first appointment available. Booking in easy via the screen, reasonably short wait on screen said 4 minutes believe it was more like 10, in the past has been at least 30 minutes.

Recent Appointment

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

So hard to get an appointment at this surgery. The phones are extremely hard to get through on to make an appointment and when you do get through invariably all appointments have gone. if wanting to cancel an appointment who wants to hang on at number 15 in the queue to do this and frustrating I cant book a blood test on line. Receptionists are unhelpful at times.

Slow to respond, difficult to get through and get an appointment, even with the app.

I checked in for my appointment on the self check in system which avoids a queue, and went straight to my waiting room, the check in told me there was a 20 min wait so I knew what to expect. My only frustration was I asked the doctor to review my repeat prescriptions so I could reorder online but he forgot, however we did talk about a number of things during my appointment.

Efficient, prompt

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I popped in to request a prescription renewal, which was dealt with efficiently and promptly. My records showed I needed a Tetanus jab which was administered while I waited, after about twenty minutes.
