Cosham Park House Surgery

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Assuming that my most recent appointment was on June 8th, I was quite happy with it, One electronic feature of checking in without having to report to Reception first is especially useful, and time saving, and directs me to the correct waiting room where I find that my wait to see a Doctor/Nurse Practitioner is generally just a few minutes.

Still a very good Clinic especially the Practice Nurses. I have experience of my Partners GP Practice Derby Road Clinic and it is nothing like as good as Cosham Park and Paulsgrove. It could do better of course but with fewer Doctors and increased population they still manage to be the best in the area.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand.at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

I had a call from the doctor as I was feeling unwell the first doctor who called me was very kind, told me he hoped I felt better soon!! The second doctor who called me was the worst person I have ever spoken to!! He was rude, spoke to me as if I was wasting his time!! And tried to diagnose me over the phone by saying I had properly slipped a disc or something when he had not even seen me. I called up as I had signs of an UTI!!

The utmost courtesy and kindness

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

The appointment was for a regular non-fasting blood test. My partner has Alzheimer's but as everything was explained carefully to him, step by step, he felt secure and happy with the procedure. As always, we were treated with the utmost courtesy and kindness by the Surgery staff.

Only popped in to sort my husbands prescription for the seventh time in as many months,hopefully it might have been sorted ,however while I was there the receptionist was very helpful, sorted out my up to date vaccinations. However if I had to book a doctors appointment this would be a different matter as it has proved in recent months,

Recent Appointment

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

There was a need to book B12 appointment at least 21-28 days ahead. Getting routine appointments is non-existent. The telephone system is a real problem-you are left on hold and then disconnected if there is pressure on system. I do not feel that the GPs I have seen have any real interest in me as a patient which leaves me with no confidence in them. I have NEVER met me named GP!
