To give a sample of blood after a 12 hour fast (Diabetic review) at 0835. Also while at the surgery, had jabs for Tetanus and MMR (Measles and Mumps).

Efficient and reliable reception staff and doctors all seem to be caring and attentive, my elderly mother is treated as important, which makes a nice change.

I phoned the surgery to request a triage call from a doctor.
I was called back in a relatively short time and spoke to the doctor regarding my illness. As this is an ongoing health problem I was able to be prescribed over the phone and VIP pharmacy delivered my meds that evening.

Should not of had to get my husband to drive to the surgery because the lack of telephone response.

I don't think there's anything too radical that can be improved upon given the constraints of the primary care service. I personally find it difficult to get to the doctors because of my work and I recall the government considering extending doctors availability to Saturday's but nothing seems to have come of that.

Nurse was excellent, prompt with appointment and courteous with strong ability to explain reasons behind tests. Went for tetanus immediately after, Dr called my name in waiting room and immediately walked off, as I’m partially sighted this was very challenging as I couldn’t see where he had gone! He did come back to find me soon after and apologised for failing to notice my white stick, but somewhat embarrassing with others in the waiting room watching and certainly not the first time this has happened. Went online to get blood results the next day, but couldn’t access them. Had to leave work early again to go back to the surgery and was in queue for reception for almost 15 minutes, to be told the surgery had forgotten to authorise my online access. Receptionist apologetic and helpful, but clearly could have done with some support with the number of patients seeking help. The lack of staff on reception makes you feel on the back foot as soon as you arrive and is if the staff are themselves constantly fire fighting, leading to poor service and no doubt frustrated staff. The majority of patients in front of me in the queue were elderly and clearly feeling stressed by the waiting times and anxious when told to book in by the machine, or do their own blood pressure, I get technology is supposed to help the reception staff, but often it takes longer to explain and then explain again to elderly or disabled patients how to do something, so is it really effective?

The surgery appears to be running out of Doctors, as the most recent appointments I had were dealt with by nurse practitioners.

Always very good service.

The online form makes life so much easier ... the doctor got in touch and followed up soon after.

Fracture right ankle 29th May on 31st May severe back pain as sciatica following fall. GP brilliant, got medication out to me within 3 hours...I was to follow hospital advice call back if any problem.

I choose to go to Paulsgrove because the car parking is easy and I do not have to climb the stairs. The waiting room is peaceful, the staff friendly and the doctor is usually on time. The doctor discusses the problem with you and helps you to understand the treatment.

Very helpful, offered a referral to MSK dept QA. Have had preliminary appointment and have further appointment next week.

I have never had a problem with this surgery, the receptionist was very helpful to me the doctor took his time to listen to me he even helped carry my bag to his office as I was struggling due to not long haven given birth, the doctor was so kind.

After being told nonurgent appointments took one week, I was rather annoyed that my appointment took 12 days. Once I had an appointment everything else was efficient. Very impressed with the doctor as she really did seem to take an interest in my problems. I do find it difficult that you cannot get any continuity of care by seeing the same doctor again.

I’ve had a few appointments for different things recently, all have gone smoothly from reception to Doctors, lovely staff doing good work, what more can you ask for.

Very happy with the wait time and how was greeted and treated by HCA. Recently moved to Purbrook and was recommended the surgery and very pleased so far.
