Lovely, helpful reception staff

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Lovely, helpful reception staff; nurses (well at least the two I saw) were also lovely, cheerful, friendly and obviously know how to put patient at ease. Fortunately I don't need to visit surgery often but when I do I'm impressed by the relatively short waiting time, particularly when compared to another practice I attend to accompany my mother. No complaints, keep up the good work; your patients appreciate it. Thanks.

I gave this score, as a working patient it's impossible to get an appointment. I have tried online and no appointments show. I will now have to take time off work so I can wait for an emergency appointment which I find silly.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Recent Appointment

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I was surprised to get a appointment within a week for a Routine Appointment, what a waste of time, the lady doctor called Dr S something cannot remember, I needed a referral on Physio's instructions re Mortons Neuroma and wanted to talk about me coming off my medication and admit I have a few medical things to discuss. All she would say was I was out of time ( 3 times) and could only discuss one thing and she had people waiting. So what does one do ? Am I supposed to book 4 separate appointments for each issue?

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.

Doctor Appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I rated the practice low, as it took me nearly 4 weeks to get an appointment, although I have Severe Dilated Cardiomyopathy, and copd. Almost every time I called just on 8am, I was 8/9 in the queue, and there were no appointments left by the time my turn came. I am also Aspergers, and have no Internet access, and I'm sure that I am not the only person in this situation.
