I find it impossible to get a doctors appointment. Cancelling an appointment with the nurse takes ages on the phone. Your receptionists are, in the main, very unhelpful. When eventually get in to see a doctor that’s all good.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Appointment for injection.

I was lucky to get a appointment on the same day, was disappointed that didn't actually see a doctor however the nurse practitioner was patient and listened to my worry. I didn't feel rushed and she answered my questions. Although I still am having problem.

Great service and very friendly staff

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

People say that the NHS is slow, I had something come up on my foot and from the time of going to see the doctor to sitting at home after it was removed was 10 days!
Great service and very friendly staff, yes it does take time to see a doctor but unless they employ 10000s of doctors then it won't change.
Overall very satisfied.

Medical advise

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Phoned GP surgery at 14.17pm to be today gp has closed all emergency appts for today and to wait till 18.45 and call 111 for OOH. Asked if this was protocol told YES !! I have a very irrational critical illness and then told this.

I had to try for three weeks to get an appointment with the doctor, every time I phoned I was put in a queue and by the time I got to no 1 there was no appointments left. When I did manage to see the doctor every thing was fine. I think the appointment system needs to be sorted out.
