Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Chest Infectioncent Appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Seen by a paramedic. Thorough but felt he was following a script. Prescribed antibiotic plus short course of steroids. Erred on side of caution which was probably for the best. However, at my time of life I would have preferred to have seen a GP or a nurse specialist.

A pleasant experience all round

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I am very happy with this surgery. I thought our old one was good but this surgery has surpassed that. I am surprised how easy it is to get an appointment when needed rather than wait for weeks, the staff are so helpful and friendly and no errors made, so far i feel very comfortable in the surgery whilst waiting its a pleasant experience all round.

I was really ill with a virus recently, rang surgery for an urgent appt to see a G.P. I was not happy that I ended up seeing a nurse and not a G.P. I dont feel that I was diagnosed in a professional manner, I feel so unhappy with this practice that I am seeking to go to another surgery. I just wish to add when i ring for an appt to see a G.P.

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.

On my most recent visit I was met with a courteous smile and greeting from Receptionist and the same from the Doctor, I felt the Doctor listened to my ailments and discussed what could be done to relieve my discomfort.
Since moving to this practice the only problem I have found is the Appointment System can sometimes be frustrating trying to get an Appointment, other than that I would happily recommend this practice.
