Our mother received a daily care package from Bluebird Care Bromley. This care package lasted for some two years. During this time, we found that the regular carers assigned to our mother were extremely professional in the way they delivered their care. Also, they were very good in their communications with us, updating us on the needs and requirements, of our mother, as they developed. Likewise, the care supervisor and manager at the Bromley branch of Bluebird were diligent and extremely helpful with advice and also helping with administration such as Attendance Allowance.
Overall, Bluebird Care Bromley is recommended!

Reliable and Kind

A big thank you to all the Carers who looked after Mum so well while my brother and his wife were on holiday.

They did a great job she seemed very relaxed and comfortable with them coming in, we’re delighted it worked so well. The App was really helpful too, it gave us the peace of mind we needed to know Mums visits were covered and all was well.

I would highly recommend this service!

Post-operative care

Warm hearted and effective care.

We have had Bluebird Care Bromley in to help my grandma for over a year now.
She needs help with remembering to take her medication and with basic tasks around the house.
All the Bluebird carers we have met have impressed us with their warmth and friendliness and the way in which they have related to my grandma. My gran's biggest need in some ways has in fact been companionship. They have also got on with the the task/s in hand. We as a family are very grateful to Bluebird Care and the lovely carers they have provided for Norma especially during the pandemic.
They are the main reason that she has been able to remain in her house for as long as she has done.

My experience

The dedication of the care staff.
What is also standing out is that there is no place here for negative feedback but I will continue with some concerns which my family have voiced before. I’m concerned about timetabling which can be erratic. My father clearly has a preferred carer with whom he had a very good relationship and with whom he feels happy and secure. We have asked on many occasions that she be allocated to him as much as possible but lately she has been replaced for some sessions by others. It is difficult for my father to explain where things are, his routines and preferences especially if it’s a one off carer.
Also, he has been allocated unsuitable times, particularly in the evening when carers have sometimes been given slots for 4.00 or 4.30, too early for his dinner, or past 6.30/7.00 too late for his dinner. On occasion he has missed dinner because of this, or just made himself soup. This is not appropriate or what we requested. It creates a lack of certainty in his mind about what is going to happen each day.

A reassuring presence

So grateful for the care and dedication Bluebird provided

The team at Bluebird Care Bromley really stepped up in helping recommend and provide care for my Uncle. He came out of hospital and it became obvious he needed additional care and support; initially this was provided through local social services and was very sadly lacking.

After contacting, speaking and working through a care plan, Bluebird were excellent, particularly Daphne who coordinated everything.

More importantly, my Uncle was happy and just knowing that someone would turn up on time and do what they said they would made a huge difference for him. Sadly, it was short-lived as he passed away only recently but we are so grateful for the care and dedication Bluebird provided.
