Bluebird Care in Coleraine is an outstanding provider of care. Without exception, its staff are caring and professional. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they work hard to ensure that my father is comfortable and happy. They engage with him with great empathy and his face lights up when they arrive. He can be grouchy and anxious at times, but they are always encouraging and reassuring and put him at ease. The staff are also highly efficient. They have been quick to notice any potential medical issues and we have acted together to address them, whether it is the prevention of bed sores or the on-set of a urinary infection.

The companion service is a recent addition to my father's care and has been highly beneficial as he is never on his own now which means that he is able to remain in his own home. His companion works hard to ensure his comfort and safety and has provided an additional level of care and mental stimulus. The benefit of delicious home-cooked food is great nutritionally as well as being tailored to Dad's likes, thereby encouraging him to eat. The personal interaction and reassurance of the companion is excellent as it gives a more normal life in addition to continuity of care.

The entire care team work together and provide an excellent service. I feel involved in and informed about my father's care and have found communication both with and between the careers to be highly effective.

In conclusion, I have absolute confidence in Bluebird care Coleraine and would recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate care delivered in a professional and empathetic manner.

Bluebird carers are my mother's other family. She just loves her carers and I can put my full trust in them. The care team leader is wonderful and will always ensure the clients get exceptional treatment and care.

If I ever have even a slight problem they always sort things out.

Since asking Bluebird to get my husband, who has dementia; out of bed, washed or bathed, dressed, shaved, teeth cleaned and hair brushed, I have felt that although they were there for him, they also included me. They are all truly like friends coming in. They ask how I am, listen to my problems and sympathise with me if needed. After they have seen to my husband, if there is time we have a chat. They also treat my husband with great care and consideration talking to him and jollying him along. The bluebirds are definitely carers, but are so much more - friends! Bluebird are as near to perfect as possible as far as I'm concerned.

I cannot express how much I appreciate and value the work of Bluebird Care. My mum has dementia and we live together. Our two carers are such genuine, kind, empathetic women. They do not speak down to mummy as if she is stupid, they honour her age and life experiences. They provide real friendships and nothing is too much trouble for them.

I travelled over from Scotland to N Ireland for my niece’s wedding.
As a wheelchair user, I am accustomed to help with showering and dressing in the morning.
Nadine arrived promptly and helped me extremely efficiently and professionally.
On the second morning she even helped me pack my rucksack as there was some spare time.
It meant I was able to head to the wedding feeling relaxed and cared for.

My 84 year old Mum had major surgery earlier this year and was up and about sooner than I expected catching me on the hop. She was due to be sent home and I needed someone to stay in her home at night for peace of mind until she was back on her feet.
A Nurse in 5 South City Hospital suggested Bluebirds in Coleraine.
On the Thursday afternoon I emailed them and within a couple of hours Linda phoned and we started the process.
The care required was an Overnighter which suited as Mum only wanted someone there at night.
I explained that Mum may possibly dismiss the carer if she decided it didn't suit her and Linda explained that was fine as no contract was signed.
Within 24 hours a care package was set up and a meeting with the co-ordinate and Mum on the Monday morning.
Tracy arrived at Mums at the arranged time and explained everything and how it all worked. She was polite, cheery and professional and very good with Mum.
This arrangement worked well and after a few days Mum decided it was no longer for her but we managed to persuade her to keep the girls for a week.
This service took a lot of pressure of me and gave the family peace of mind.
Many thanks for a great, well organised and flexible service which if needs be I would use again.

All those who work for Bluebird have been very helpful but have also made a very good friendly relationship with their client. They have been prompt in attendance and flexible in approach. I am very satisfied.

Overall, an excellent service. All carers professional, adaptable to a new illness and willing to learn. Impressed with the whole team and it was clear that the operations manager lead from the top down. Excellent follow up and contact. Office staff professional and helpful. Everyone did what they said when they said they would.

Bluebird give me the flexibility to arrange care the way I like it to be. The carers on the ground and the office back up is first class.

Promote good hygiene and infection control. Always wear uniform, gloves and aprons. Are respectful of Dad, family and home. Supportive and talk to Dad at a level he understands. Well trained and can be trusted to deal with any medical issues that arise. Dad has complex medical needs and I can leave safe in the knowledge he will be well cared for, of uppermost importance.

We have had seven months of care from reliable, caring and compassionate, happy, friendly and capable ladies.

We were very satisfied wiith Bluebird for providing care for our mother and the information they provided in arranging the visits.

Generally very pleased with service. Reliable and friendly. Once or twice someone calls who is unfamiliar with my mum and therefore easily persuaded she does not need meal even though we have left note explains that she does and suggesting few light cleaning tasks that are not often done.

Maybe need slightly more centralised. communication. Despite this, am very grateful for service and mum happy as far as we know.

My father is cared for by Bluebird carers whom I could not speak highly enough about. They are excellent and my father has a smile on his face when they appear.

They are tidy, caring and bring any problems to your attention. We as a family could not manage without them, it is great to have their service as we can have piece of mind.

Bluebird Care for me is excellent and I look forward to their care on a daily basis. Their morning visits to me help me to face the day otherwise I feel most of my day would be spent in bed, they are my incentive.
