Gentle and considerate
The care package appears to be working well, however this is a first experience so I cannot make a comparison with any other agency. Most carers I have met from SD Care have been gentle and considerate, in particular J who has built up a good rapport with my wife which is reassuring her and myself. Sometimes there have been too many changes of carers that I understand with staff shortages this is inevitable. Continuity of carers without too many changes is essential, so I am hoping that J will be our regular 'anchor'.

Wonderful
Carers were wonderful, very kind, always arrived on time. Became friends, looked after him so well. Wearing PPE and all the equipment, telling me what was needed, and keeping me informed all the time. Worked with the district nurses and GP. When he couldn't stand properly they suggested bed care and the GP agreed and adjusted the call for what he needed. They were very reassuring. They came to bring flowers and a card.

Go the extra mile
Kind, caring, professional carers that go the extra mile to make sure that you are well looked after. I would recommend SD Care to anyone, I have (in my professional career) heard and seen a lot of carers who just view their role as a job, however, the carers at SD Care are not like this at all - they are friendly, caring, empathetic, understanding and respectful professionals. J and L have both been an absolute godsend to me and my family, we couldn't have wished for better care! Thank you.

A carer who cares

The care provided cannot be faulted. All carers that have come to P have been very friendly, caring and always have a smile. The level of care is excellent; P is very pleased and always has a smile on his face once they have been in to see him. Communication between carers and family has also been excellent.
