It has been 3 weeks since the start of the care programme (receiving 4 visits per day) and I've found the level of service from SD Care Agency to be extremely good. It is the first time that I've had anyone coming into my house after isolating for several months during the Covid crisis this was something I was anxious about.

In fact, I've been really pleasantly surprised by the experience of having carers coming in - everyone I've seen has been kind and helpful so that I feel very looked after. I've especially appreciated having the same core team coming in most days (Suzete, Pedro and Sylvia). They have been incredibly kind and caring to me but I've also enjoyed seeing them and feel that I've got to know them a little over the short time they've been coming, which has been an unexpected pleasure. I feel that they respect me and my home, and I'm confident that they have my best interests at heart. They're clearly experienced too and I found this particularly useful a couple of times when they spotted potential issues and prompted us to get urgent help from GP/nurses that turned out to be needed.

We are very happy with the support and care that we receive. We could not survive without the carers.

The technical service is perfectly adequate. E's usual carers are agreeable and pleasant to deal with. The others who fill in on off days are perfectly polite and helpful.

My mother E has benefitted from the amazing help of SD Care Agency for a few months before being permanently moved into a care home. I hereby express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to looking after her so well, despite the difficulties encountered because of her advancing dementia. Thank you for being so brilliant and caring until the very last day.

I hope you are keeping well. This is just to say 'Thank You' for the care you are providing. T says M is an angel and I agree with her. She is a credit to your organisation. We appreciate that she and her colleagues went out of their way to help us with T's shopping until the meal delivery services was set up. Great sense of initiative!

I have used SD Care for the past three years now and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff are great and so are the services provided. The field supervisor, S, is a sweetheart. I really get on well with her. She makes me smile and feel reassured whenever I have a query or doubt. My wife and I are quite demanding people but could not be more satisfied with our amazing caregivers.

Our carers are the best! They treat my mother B as if she was their own Grandmother. Before discovering SD Care, I was on the point of having her admitted to a care home as no one seemed to have the necessary humanitarian skills to match our care standards and family values. But these young folks are absolute angels with her: after their first visit she asked me if she was already in heaven.

Upon learning that my husband would be discharged from the hospital, we became a bit concerned because the social workers could not find an agency available to start immediately. Thankfully we found SD care, whose staff were remarkably prompt and came to meet us straight away. Since day one the carers have been punctual, communicative and efficient in dealing with our queries.

My female carer D, is a real sweetheart. She spends a lot of time chatting with me and always stays beyond the duration of her calls to make sure I have everything I need. Before starting the care, I was very isolated and almost forgot how to have a conversation. Thanks to SD, my speech has become more fluent again and I am now ready to step back into society.

I would like to say 'thank you' to all our lovely assistants for everything they're doing for us. Apart from a minor hiccup with one of the members of staff, the service provided has always been 100% spot on. Our care givers are reliable, punctual, well presented and meticulous about all aspects of my husband's daily requirements. So here I am: thank you and keep up the good work.

My father suffers from Huntington Disease and his speech has progressively become more and more impaired, to the point that I can hardly understand him. I was impressed to see how the office staff talked to him on the day of his first assessment. No other agency before has shown this kind of respect for him. I finally felt relieved to see he would be in good hands.

I am very satisfied with the help provided, no complaints whatsoever. My carers do all they can to make me feel comfortable and are always flexible when it comes to making arrangements which are not necessarily part of my support plan. Even when there is something that regulations do not allow them to do, they make sure local authorities are notified and the relevant changes brought forward.

I have always considered myself a strong, healthy woman. Unfortunately though, old age and depression have finally started to take a toll, leaving me shattered and crying over myself all the time. Thankfully my amazing carers noticed something major was wrong with me and called for a prompt medical intervention. I don't know where I would be today without them.
