Bluebird Care Sevenoaks

Continuity of care has been excellent over the last year. If I need to make any changes these are put into place wherever possible with minimum fuss. Carers are kind and helpful and take on board very quickly any changes to the care package. Staff at the office and cheerful and professional.

The ethos since I started with Bluebird was to treat the customer as if they were your own family. I have maintained that throughout my employment and pleased to see all other carers have the same approach. Thorough care completed with a person centered approach, with dignity and personal choice maintained throughout.

Bluebird staff have been absolutely excellent, they have cared for both of my parents for a number of years now. The care staff are always kind, compassionate, respectful and really tuned in to what is needed. I have also found the office staff to always be polite and helpful. I would highly recommend them.

There are many examples that stands out for me at Bluebird. The prompt action they respond with when I have a concern or need advice on some issues or problems I have be it with a customer or for myself. Also the way the office staff assisted me during my NVQ 3 was really great and I appreciated all they did for me.

The Bluebird Care I found them to be very professional and friendly, they go over and beyond the call of duty to make sure that their staff are doing fine and not only that they also make sure that we have our PPE in order before starting the job. What also stood out for me is the weekly supervision that we have to see how things are going.

I have been with Bluebird care since 2013 and I really can't imagine working with anyone else. The care team are a cut above who show a real passion to care for their customers and always bring a smile. The office team are always at hand to support our carers, customers and their families, whether it be through the good times or the harder times of life.

Bluebird Care Sevenoaks is a great team to work for, not only do the staff genuinely care for the customers but they often go above and beyond for them. It is a very friendly team and there is a great office atmosphere which makes for a great work environment. I love being a part of the Sevenoaks team!

Been with Bluebird for many years. Care of my husband has always been excellent. His care needs have gradually increased to what is now a double-handed service, 4 times a day, as well as 24-hour live-in care. Carers cope well with his physical deterioration and the slow progress of his dementia with skill, empathy and patience. We have one, excellent male live-in carer; the one thing that causes me anxiety is that I have to find a replacement elsewhere when this carer takes his holiday weeks. Hopefully, in the future, Bluebird will be successful in finding more male live-in carers to care for their male customers.

I am proud to work as part of the office team at Bluebird Care Sevenoaks. We are very lucky to have an amazing care team, both live in and domiciliary. I really do believe in the care we provide which is why some of our carers supported my mum when she needed the help.

Bluebird careers are reliable, friendly and professional. The support they give is tailored to the client’s needs and they take the time to build relationships and trust. The openPASS app is a very effective way to keep channels open between Bluebird and family members and provides the latter with invaluable feedback on the well-being of their loved one.

Care given on time by skilled caring staff, management always accommodated my mothers changing needs and were flexible when rescheduling or additional care was needed. Good liaison and support for us as family.

What would we do without Bluebird?!!

The wonderful people at Bluebird Sevenoaks started looking after my 90-year old Mother, who had limited mobility, with day care some two years ago, helping her though her morning and evening routines, and generally supporting her sense of wellbeing when my Father was coming to the end of his days.
This has continued and, now that Mother is 93 years, Bluebird provides all-round, live-in care. This means Mother continues in her own home, receiving as visitors both family and friends, enjoying the familiarity of everything around her. This has proven very successful, avoiding the need for a nursing home.
The managers know exactly what they are doing and stay in close contact with both Mother and the family point of contact, as well as the doctor.
The carers are well trained and are 'caring', with good empathy. The rotation system works well, and of course some carers are absolute 'stars', boosting Mother's morale if ever she feels a bit down. Having direct updates from the carer Is so welcome, particularly since some members of the family live some distance away.
It goes without saying, we couldn't manage without Bluebird. The people are kind and considerate, know what they are doing, say in close contact, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
