Very reliable, kind and efficient
A very reliable, kind and efficient care company. Carers always arrive on time as far as humanly possible. On the rare occasion they need to be late we receive a phone call. They are all cheerful, patient and good humoured. All take good care with health, hygiene and overall cleanliness. We have remained with Bluebird for over 8 years to date which says it all really.

Kind and genuinely caring
Everybody I have met from Bluebird are professional, kind and genuinely caring. You have to see them in action to appreciate this to the full. Any problems (well you don't have any) are dealt with immediately. You are kept up to date and included all that happens. The company liaise with equipment providers and you want for nothing. Obviously this comes at a price but worth every penny. Mum is never alone as she was often left while staying in Residential Care.

Kind, professional and caring
On the whole we have been happy with the care our mother has received over the 6 years we have used Bluebird. The negatives have usually been to do with carers leaving or changing. Also due to the many foreign carers who have limited English or strong accents, our mum found it difficult to understand them (she has poor hearing!) They have all been very kind and caring though. When we have had to ask for changes the management/supervisors have tried to accommodate us wherever possible. The fees have just been increased which is a problem as we are having to top up from incoming money.

Always there for me, whenever I needed help.
After becoming very unwell during the last three years, Bluebird have been excellent in providing me with the care I needed. The carers have been so kind and Bluebird have been happy to step in quickly with assistance, when my needs have suddenly increased, following an operation and a couple of acute health episodes.. They regularly sent a lovely manager named Vicci to see me, to ensure I was getting the help I needed and that Bluebird were up to date with my state of health. I developed a friendly relationship with Vicci, my carer and the office staff and as such I trusted them with my care. I won't hesitate to ask Bluebird for help going forward, should I experience another acute health episode, or need to have another operation.. Many thanks,.

Domiciliary Care For Mum
Unfortunately I do not see the carers but Mum seems to have a different person every day. One carer shines but only comes once a week. When enrolled was told they would try to have consistency but this is not the case and we have been on the books for nearly a year.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that one carer is shining but obviously sorry to hear that others aren’t meeting the same standards. Regarding continuity, our approach is to try to assign all customers a regular team (typically between 2-5 people, depending on the frequency of visits) to avoid mum having to greet a stranger at her door in all but exceptional circumstances. A regular carer shining suggests a degree of continuity, and though we can’t see which particular customer this pertains to, we have had an unusually higher than normal amount of leave to cover in the run up to the 31 March holiday year end, which we’re aware has unfortunately caused some anxiety to a small number of customers. We apologise if this has adversely affected mum’s care. Are you aware we have an app, openPASS, which was designed with relatives in your position in mind? It’s free to use, simple to setup and would enable you to see on your tablet/mobile/PC exactly who is visiting mum when, along with her Care Plan and all the care notes. To discuss the situation around mum’s continuity further, or to setup access to the openPASS app, please get in touch with the office. Many thanks for your valued feedback.

The office staff are Excellent and extremely supportive going beyond the call of duty and supportive to myself as well as my mum, who is on final stage dementia and can be challenging at times! The live in carers are good but particularly Karen who has become part of the family.
The Lunch time domiciliary staff are all lovely, caring ,understanding and patient.Big Thumbs up to Bluebird.Highly recommend them especially when trust is of upmost importance when someone is caring for a relative 24 hours a day.

Live In Care For Mum
The kindness and understanding offered to me by the Bluebird Team was wonderful and it helped me enormously. The care and help being given to my mother by the live in carer has gone beyond anything I ever expected. Our carer has quickly become one of the family and the consideration and affection displayed to us and my mother is totally appreciated. I must say that we are only one month into our care situation but I do not envisage any thing changing my mind. Even the managers and office staff go out of their way to reassure and support.
