We were so pleased that Dad was at home when the end came and it was a huge comfort to know that he had the very best care from the medical team and from Bluebird. We are especially grateful to Becky for being with him last night and for dealing with everything so brilliantly.
Bluebird was part of Dad's life in recent years, and amongst the carers Alica and Cynthia in particular became family.

Live In Care
They were excellent, enabling my dad to stay at home for 6 months longer than he would have done without their help. The carers we had, Fiona, Karen and Ivana were all kind, very good with both my Dad, and my mother who was bravely caring for him. The outstanding star was Natasha H who frequently went over and above the call of duty and enabled my sister and me to have peace of mind in the knowledge that my parents were safe and cared for (as we live at least 2 hrs away. )

Live In Care With Domiciliary Support
Almost without exception the carers have been excellent. They really are caring and also thoughtful about trying to find ways in which to entertain 'E'. It does seem to be more than just a job albeit one which they want to do really well. For us as a family it is really important to feel that 'E' is cared for by people we can trust and we certainly feel that. We are pleased that there are not too many different faces (live in carers) as that is particularly important for someone with dementia. I also feel confident about contacting Bluebird if any issues do arise - it is good to have a relationship with the managers as well as the carers. Overall very pleased with the service.

Nothing is too much trouble
Bluebird Care supply us with a live in carer and an extra carer for moving and handling in the morning, at lunch time and in the evening. They are all punctual, cheerful, well trained and efficient. They also have a good sense of humour which is an essential requirement in the care industry. They are very caring and pay attention to clients individual needs and wishes. They pay good attention to hygiene and cleanliness.

Always kind and so caring
Thank you to all the carers who were responsible for looking after my Mum. When we first suggested she needed carers, she was very reluctant. However, it wasn't long before she really looked forward to seeing and chatting with her carers. My sister and I felt we knew them all, as she would tell us all that was going on in their lives. My Mum was not always easy to please but whenever I met any of the carers they were always kind and so caring and never seemed rushed although I know they were all so busy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hard working, efficient
I would like to congratulate you on the quality of service you provide and the way your staff handle any obstacles which arise. Re scheduling the visits to cope with snow and ice this week must have been a nightmare – I think Leah and Charlotte will be greatly relieved when they can get back to normal. Obviously we only see a small part of what they do but all the “bluebirds” we see (bar an occasional hiccup) are hard working, efficient at their work and are very good ambassadors for your company.

Live In Care
Care at Home - Your services have allowed an old gentlemen to return to his home after hospitalisation and a lengthy stay in a nursing home. This was planned carefully and thoroughly and worked well until an infection took hold, necessitating an urgent admission to hospital.
This crisis was handled very well and the carers made sure the house was made secure. Since then there has been helpful and sensitive regular contact with the Live-in supervisor to check progress and assess the prospects of re-establishing care at home. This is yet to be decided.

Care For Mum
Bluebird Care, Sevenoaks have always gone above and beyond to ensure the best care is made available for Mum whose Dementia has gradually worsened over the last 2 years. As next of kin, I communicate with the office staff who have always been fully informed of Mum's changing needs by the attending carers, regularly visiting themselves and are often very busy in the background ensuring safe and effective care.
All the carers I've met at Mum's house have been kind, patient and supportive of Mum. Angels through and through.

Bluebird made Mum's life so much better
Thank you so much for all that you and Bluebird have done in caring for mum. You have been so supportive and all the girls who have looked after mum have been quite excellent. Despite her initial reluctance, accepting live-in carers was a great decision for mum as she had been previously been lonely.
The future for mum is somewhat uncertain at the moment as she enters another phase but we will remember the Bluebird team with great fondness - you all made mum’s life so much better for her these last 12 months.

Wonderful care and support
The care and support that my father has received from all at Bluebird Care Sevenoaks has been wonderful and has helped him maintain a feeling of freedom and independence.
He so looks forward to each visit and the opportunity to chat with the carer while they are walking. Every carer has engaged with my father, often encouraging him to talk about his life as a farmer, and each visit brightens his day.
