Mrs Nehta is an experienced professional that has given me a good understanding of my condition and the best approach. I am following her direction and my symptoms are reducing. She is very understanding, thoughtful and I highly recommend her.

On referral from Mr Harris (ENT) at Shirley Oaks, I saw Mrs Mehta, the audiologist, and received excellent treatment and follow up care. She was very professional, as well as kind and reassuring. I can highly recommend her.

My GP referred me to Neha Meta following a diagnosis of vestibular migraine and associated balance issues. I was feeling very anxious after a frightening couple of months of feeling dizzy and unbalanced and struggling to get the support I needed. Neha’s super friendly and positive approach was just what I needed and she immediately reassured me I could get better. She taught me a number of exercises over several visits and also signposted me to wider help such as CBT counselling and mindfulness. The sessions have also been a really helpful opportunity to ask questions that my GP struggles with around how best to treat my conditions. I feel very lucky to have had access to Neha’s support and expertise.

I had a really positive experience when visiting Shirley Oaks Hospital. I’ve had a number of scarey episodes, where I feel dizzy and about to pass out. This left me feeling very anxious. I saw ENT consultant, Mr Robert Harris, who was very personable, reassuring and helpful. Mr Harris recommended audiologist Meha Mehta. Meha identified Vestibular hyper function and reassured me that with balance therapy things will improve. I was super impressed with Meha’s knowledge and thorough explanation of my ear condition, and I felt reassured things would improve. I was given lots of balance exercise to do. Such a relief not to have to resort to medication. I’d never heard of balance therapy but after testing some of the exercises I feel confident it will help. Thank you.

I arrived as an outpatient at Shirley Oaks after struggling with a balance disorder for some time and after being seen as an outpatient with another ENT specialist at a different hospital who was unable to diagnose my condition. At Shirley Oaks I saw Dr.Harris who was very sympathetic and actually asked me how I was feeling rather than just reviewing my notes. He was immediately able to diagnose my condition and refer me to a specialist physiotherapist he works with at Shirley Oaks called Neha Mehta who has been amazing.
In my first session Neha put me at ease, gave me a detailed explanation of what was causing my symptoms and provided a bespoke treatment plan after a thorough assessment. In our follow up appointments she has been always been very helpful, able to answer my queries and provided treatment plans that have given me the best chance to recover. I am very grateful I managed to find Dr.Harris and Neha and would highly recommend them to anyone suffering from a balance disorder.

Monika from the pre-assessment blood test was so lovely and professional. She made me feel at ease though I am not the easiest person to take blood from.

On 11/12/23 I was having treatment on my left eye, two ladies Becky and Lesley-Ann were looking after me prior to and after the procedure. From both those ladies I cannot speak highly enough of the care they showed me and my wife, in all aspects of care they were fantastic, they are a shining example of what nursing should be, I and my wife thank them from the bottom of our heart, God bless both of you and we send you all our love.
