My wife is retired, I am semi-retired and we currently enjoy good health. We have become increasingly concerned about the state of UK healthcare provision given the magnitude of pressures on our NHS to provide timely support to an ageing population. We felt the time was right to look to private health insurance to support us as we age. I am running a small woodland consulting business, so I looked into the possibility of getting a private healthcare package, with an initial contact through a website which provided us with a list of private healthcare insurance brokers. I selected Globacare from the short-list provided and Nick made the initial contact and a telephone appointment to discuss our healthcare requirements. After an interview conducted over the phone, Nick set about finding a competitive quotation for an annual healthcare plan. He came back to us within the timeframes he had set out and we are now into our first month of additional healthcare protection. I liked the 'no-pressure and no-hassle approach' that Nick employed. I like the fact that the Globacare team are youthful (anyone below 66 qualifying) and operate their business with integrity and transparency. It's early days, but so far so good.

I first spoke with Matthew in February of 2022 when he guided me towards the best insurance option for me at the time. Matthew was extremely generous with his time and I felt enormously reassured with his advice. There followed the expected minor administrative details with back-and-forth emails and Matthew always responded promptly and resolved these points quickly.

There came a point where - due to unforeseen circumstances - I had to cancel my insurance. Matthew tried to find a way where I wouldn’t have to lose my insurance completely but sadly that was not possible at the time. However, he very kindly left the door open for me to call him in the future. By November 2023 with failing health, I called Matthew again for his advice. He understood my needs immediately and put me on a new plan that was sustainable for me. I have always found Matthew to be considerate, consistently outstanding in his service, and attentive and responsive in his care of me. It has been a pleasure to speak with him.
