As I've gotten older, various medical events have occurred both big and small, that have had the result of pushing up the cost of my medical insurance cover. I was looking for private health insurance for my daughter who is an international student in the UK. Coming from different part of the world, I was asking numerous questions about how UK health care is organized and Nicholas was very patient answering all of them in great detail. Nicholas suggested several options and helped me to make an informed choice. He also agreed to provide guidance for my daughter when she starts using her insurance.

I searched for a health insurance quotation to give my daughters peace of mind. They live abroad and worry about me as I live alone and have no other family members. My first enquiry with another company (via internet) was a disaster. The telephone call lasted five minutes. The advisor I spoke to introduced herself as the Head of the Sales Team. All she offered me (after I had given her my details) were two prices, one for Limited and the other Unlimited. She wasn't particularly interested in explaining to me the differences between the two policies; all she said at the end of our short conversation was that her mother has the said Unlimited Policy....so I guess she was trying to tell me that if it is good enough for her mother then it is good enough for me! This experience really had a bad effect on me but I decided to pursue my search for a quotation. A friend gave me Nick Zainal's telephone number. He spoke highly of him and I am so glad I took my friend's advice.

I have lived in the USA for seventeen years and have had to take out expensive health insurance—no insurance, no doctor! I am returning to the UK for the rest of my life and a few months ago saw a link to find out about UK private health insurance. I was curious, but thought it would be too much to afford at the age of 75. Shortly after Nick called me and gave me a quotation which is sufficiently reasonable for me to apply for a policy. In fact the cost will be around two-thirds of what I am paying for in the US where with Medicare I am partly subsidised. After Daryl reviewed our recently purchased medical insurance from another company we realised we had missed the fact that our out-patient cover was limited to £500 and our excess was £500, thus cancelling each other out (and meaning we would be paying for any outpatient care). This was not pointed out to us by that company. Daryl gently brought this to our attention. He comes across as knowing what he is talking about.
