Philatelic Insurance Renewal
Magnet took over a previous insurance company. They contacted me in advance and took a call within minutes. The people answering the phone were polite and it did not have that 'dreaded' corporate feel. It felt like a business that wanted your business. I dealt with Christian. I had a question and rather than guess the answer he firmed up on his understanding with the underwriters; getting back in touch as he promised. Far too often clients are forced to follow things up - but not with Magnet; they were efficient. I purchased the policy and highly recommend the company and its staff.

Service as it used to be.
Over recent years I have been totally disillusioned with the total lack of service for customers provided by both the public and private companies. I recently received the renewal notice from Magnet Insurance to cover my stamp and postal history collections and also my collection of model police and military vehicles. The rise in premium was minimal and I paid the premium by cheque on the 2.1.24 and by email I received the renewal policy on the 6th February. Now that is excellent service in this day and age. Naturally I hope I don't have to make a claim, but if I do I hope it will be dealt with as efficiently as the renewal.

Excellent Service
The value of my collection has increased (although it can be hard to put a value on these things), so I rang to let Magnet know. I was expecting my premium to go up. The extremely helpful lady on the phone said that I could increase the insured value without an increase in premium. Not only that but she told me the maximum insured level that I could have without a premium increase. Brilliant!

After the takeover
After being with Stamp Insurance services for about 25 Years I missed speaking to the same person every year. New agent was OK and efficient but rather stressed that it was 2 days after the renewal date. SIS were quite happy that it was usually a few days into January before I paid the renewal premium.
